A strong second quarter spurred Ridgway boys basketball on to a 46-25 victory Friday night at Ridgway Area High School.
Curwensville led 10-6 over Ridgway at the end of the first quarter. Neither team did much on offense in the first four minutes of the second quarter as Ridgway mustered four points and Curwensville was shut out to leave the score tied at 10-all with 3:52 left. A MacDonald field goal with 5:04 left broke a 7:26 scoring drought for Ridgway and two free throws from Jeremy Breier tied the game at 10.
