Ridgway baseball loses home opener

April 21, 2014

Luke Pierce jogs to first base for Ridgway after a sixth inning walk Monday afternoon during baseball action against DCC.

Ridgway looked to have a prime chance to tie or take the lead, loading the bases with no one out.
DuBois Central Catholic Phil Myers made sure it wasn't such a prime opportunity.
Myers kept the Elkers off the board in the bottom of the sixth and DCC added an insurance run in the seventh inning for a 3-1 victory over Ridgway Monday afternoon at Sandy Beach Recreational Park in the Elkers' home opener.
