Residents receive seismic testing letters

Residents throughout Elk County have received letters from Blueline Geo regarding future seismic testing throughout the area.
In a letter dated April 14, Blueline Geo reports being "contracted by Seneca Resources and Tideland geophysical company to permit for a 3D seismograph survey for the lands lying in Elk County."
Some of the areas reportedly include Taft Road in St. Marys, Boot Jack Hill in Ridgway Township, and state Route 120 in Ridgway Township.
