Reports of attempted abduction of girl at SMAHS

Photo by Colin Deppen – St. Marys City Police were dispatched to the St. Marys Area High School Wednesday night in response to reports of an attempted abduction of a female student that took place between 7:55 and 8 p.m.

ST. MARYS – According to scanner dialogue between police and Elk County Control, the attempted abduction of a female took place between approximately 7:55 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at St. Marys Area High School.
According to police, the female described her would-be abductors as two males wearing black ski masks and driving an older dark blue, navy or black passenger car with a back bumper that is falling off.
