Rebecca (Becky) Mae Johnson, 59, of Spring Creek Road, Ridgway, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1953 in Ridgway, the daughter of Lila Jean Duffee Johnson of Dagus Mines and the late Theodore W. Johnson. She graduated from Ridgway Area High School, Class of 1971. Becky attended the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She worked at Aielloâ€™s Restaurant for years. She then became owner/operator of a cleaning business. She was forced to retire due to health problems.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Trent Wallace Johnson of Dagus Mines; her friend and companion, Jim Cathers of Spring Creek; two brothers, Stephen Charles Johnson of Newberry Springs, Calif., and Jeffery Allen Johnson of Ridgway; and by two sisters, Faye Marie Cowan of Titusville and Dixie Ann Allshouse of Dagus Mines.
She was predeceased by her father, and by a brother, Scott Lee Johnson.
A Memorial Service for Rebecca Johnson will be held in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Erik Hart, pastor. Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
