RASD working to increase tech education opportunities

During the recent meeting of the Ridgway Area School Board of Directors, RHS principal Heather McMahon Vargas presented information on the school's efforts to increase student opportunities through post-secondary technical school options.
In August of 2013, the school expanded options for students preparing to begin technical education or enter directly into the workforce. Ridgway currently offers pre-engineering I, II and III, machine and tool I and II, construction I and II, power technologies I and II, robotics, CAD I and II, advanced drafting, architectural drafting, accounting I and II, business math, marketing, and a course titled "my money, my business."
