Rams use strong fourth quarter to hold off Dutch

January 7, 2014

Cameron Grumley sprints down the lane against Zach Reigel of St. Marys during a 69-52 Johnsonburg win. Grumley had 35 points in the win over the Dutch.

JOHNSONBURG – The Rams picked up the victory Monday night over St. Marys but the Dutch made it anything but easy for Johnsonburg.
The Rams outscored St. Marys 22-10 in the fourth quarter to blow open what had been a close game for three quarters to pick up a 69-52 win Monday night at Johnsonburg Area High School.
"That's for sure, they shot very well," Johnsonburg coach Bill Shuey said. "We were flat. I don't know what kind of percentage we shot in the first half but it couldn't have been very good. I think we were waiting for fouls as we took the ball to the basket and they weren't fouling us and we were just missing them. We missed a lot of shots."
