Johnsonburg guard Cole Peterson drives to the bucket against Jack Huggins of Brookville. Peterson had 15 points in a 66-31 win for the Rams.

JOHNSONBURG – Johnsonburg boys basketball had little trouble against an overmatched Brookville team, finishing the Raiders off early in a 66-31 victory Monday night at Johnsonburg Area High School.
Johnsonburg had a 10-2 lead after the first three minutes and went on to lead 27-6 after the first quarter.
The Rams opened the game with a Cameron Grumley layup before Nathan Shirts answered with a jumper to tie the game at 2-all. That would be the only tie of the game as a Frank Kocjancic hoop put the Rams ahead, ultimately for good. Johnsonburg would go on an 8-0 run as Grumley added two more hoops and Luhr put in a a layup at the 5:15 mark of the first quarter for a 10-2 lead.
Johnsonburg used their full-court press during the first quarter to fluster the Raiders and build a big lead.
