Ramettes win season opener

Johnsonburg's Kathryn Polaski splits two defenders Friday night en route to the Ramettes' 48-42 win over visiting Cameron County.

JOHNSONBURG – The Johnsonburg Ramettes started the season on the right foot Friday, overcoming a slow start to upend visiting Cameron County 48-42.
The first game of the season also marked the first varsity win for first-year head coach Crystal Galsick. Johnsonburg was led by the tough combination of Chelsea Benson, who scored 26 points, and Kassa Kocjancic, who added 14 in the winning effort.
