Ramettes advance past Lady Lions

Johnsonburg pitcher Hollie Schneider releases a pitch for the Ramettes against Clarion-Limestone. Schneider had three hits at the plate and struck out seven in the pitching circle as the Ramettes advanced past the Lady Lions with a 10-8 win in the first round of the District 9 Class A softball playoffs.

JOHNSONBURG – It didn't have to be pretty or have a ton of style points but the Johnsonburg Ramettes were happy to take a playoff victory.
Johnsonburg overcame errors early and held off a furious comeback in the seventh inning to take a 10-8 victory over Clarion-Limestone Monday afternoon at Knothole Park in the first round of the District 9 Class A softball playoffs.
