File photo by Gian DeLoia – Pool rates at the Lyle G. Hall Community Pool in downtown Ridgway will remain the same as last summer.

Membership rates for the Lyle G. Hall Community Pool in downtown Ridgway will remain unchanged for the upcoming season.
The Ridgway Borough Council approved a recommendation from the Planning, Grants and Recreation Committee Monday night for the family membership to cover up to five people and any additional members to be charged $10 per person.
"We did not change the season and weekly memberships or the daily admissions," said Council President Nina Stolburg. "They are the same as how they have been in the past."
According to the minutes from the committee meeting, Borough Manager Martin Schuller expects the community pool to open Friday, June 1.
Council member Ralph Dussia noted that due to new ADA [Americans with Disabilities Act] requirements the borough has ordered two sets of steps and must install an additional handrail on the handicapped ramp for a total cost of about $10,000.
Season membership rates for the 2012 season are as follows:
A family membership is $75; $35 for a single adult; $30 for a child; and $20 for a non-swimmer.
The weekly admission for a family is $15 and $7 for a single person.
The daily admission for an adult is $2; $1.50 per child; and $1 for a non-swimmer.
Patalano's Place II will be running the concession stand, Dussia said.
