Polaski returns for Johnsonburg cross country

Kathryn Polaski will return to the Johnsonburg cross country team this season as its lone member at season’s start.
Johnsonburg coach Eric Lowry is happy to be able to see Polaski run with Johnsonburg cross country.
“Just to be able to see her finish her career out will be good enough,” Lowry said. “She’s doing fine, I’m just hoping to give her a chance to qualify and go to states these next two years, that’s really the big thing.”
Lowry said Polaski has a chance to be a state qualifier this season if she can have a strong season.
“I’m confident she could if she puts it together well during the season,” Lowry said.
Johnsonburg opens the season at St. Marys on Sept. 4 for a 4:15 p.m. meet.
