May 5, 2014

Ridgway's Ben MacDonald, 9, and Johnsonburg's Cole Peterson, 19, were both named to the 2014 Elk County Baseball Tournament all-tournament team following Saturday morning's consolation game at Berwind Park.

Cole Peterson struck out 17 and the Johnsonburg Rams scored two runs in the first, four in the second, and one in the sixth to shut out the Ridgway Elkers 7-0 in the consolation game of the Elk County Tournament on Saturday morning at Berwind Park.
"It was a good game," said Johnsonburg head coach Jeff Peterson. "We're both young teams. They struggle just like we do."
