Peggy J. (Bugdon) Hankinson

Peggy J. (Bugdon) Hankinson, 78, DuBois, died in her sleep on Aug. 2, 2011.
She was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Portland Mills, the daughter of Ignacious and Mary Gere Bugdon. She lived and worked in the Ridgway area for many years. On Oct. 6, 1980, she married Woody Hankinson and moved to the Wilcox area. After her husband’s death, she lived in several locations, finally residing in DuBois.
Surviving family members include a brother-in-law, Harry Fulmer of Portland Mills, a nephew, Zane Fulmer and his wife Rebecca of Brookville and a niece, Margaret Nagy and her husband John of Whittier, California.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, two brothers, Bernard and William Bugdon, and three sisters, Bettie M. Fulmer, Rose M. Elgin and infant Margie.
Memorial services for Peggy Hankinson will be held on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
