Patricia A. Mitchell

Patricia A. Mitchell, 71, of 121 Powell St., Ridgway, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Ridgway, the daughter of Harold and Mary Cianca Russell.
She married Samuel Mitchell, who predeceased her on Oct. 15, 1996.
Mrs. Mitchell was a lifelong Ridgway resident. She was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts and talking with people. She was employed at Clarion Sinitered Metals, retiring in 2001.
She is survived by four children, Tina Samick of Ridgway, Cheyney Mitchell of Ridgway, Steve Mitchell of Ridgway, and Jeff Mitchell of Indiana; two granddaughters, Krystal Samick of Ridgway and Cheynenne Mitchell of Brockway; a brother, James Russell (Linda) of Ridgway; and by a sister, Susan Jabs (Dave) of Connecticut.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Samick, and by a son, Samuel Mitchell III.
Funeral and committal services for Patricia A. Mitchell will be celebrated at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo’s Catholic Church.
Interment will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
