Patricia L. Cook

Patricia L. Cook, 89, of 223 Irving Ave., Ridgway, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Ridgway, the daughter of Everett and Phyllis Shugars Carberry. She married Lawrence K. Cook; he predeceased her on Aug. 29, 1994.
Mrs. Cook resided in Ridgway most of her life, where she was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed her tea time with friends and being with her family. She had been employed at Sylvania in St. Marys.
She is survived by a daughter, Terri Erickson (Chuck) of Ridgway; a grandson, James Erickson (Charlene) of Ridgway; a granddaughter, Trisha Keller of Ridgway; 6 great-grandchildren, Michael Vasbinder Jr., Tabatha Erickson, Tonya Erickson, Rachelle Vasbinder, Vanessa Keller, and Frankie Gardner; and by a great-great-grandson, Aiden Vasbinder.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Cook; three grandsons, Gregory Erickson, Eric Cook, and Jason Cook; a sister, Eloise Stratton; and by a brother, James Carberry.
A Memorial Mass for Patricia L. Cook will be celebrated at St. Leo’s Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
There will be no viewing. Friends will be received at The Gathering Room of St. Leo’s Church for one hour prior to Mass.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home.
