With the support of a $150,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's Discovered in PA, Developed in PA grant program (D2PA), the Community Education Council (CEC) has partnered up with the region's chambers of commerce, the North Central Workforce Investment Board, and local schools and employers.
"Over a year ago, we realized a lot of the companies and training providers, and the partners that we work with in our building every day are only as good as the local economies," said Kate Brock, executive director of the CEC which has served the community for over 20 years.
