Olice I. "Ollie" Woleslagle

Olice I. "Ollie" Woleslagle, 91, of 500 First Ave., Apt. 3, Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, May 6, 2011, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Sheffield, daughter of the late Joseph and Ella May Lee Starner.
She married Newell Woleslagle on Sept. 23, 1931, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1987.
She resided in Johnsonburg all her life, graduating from Johnsonburg High School in 1937.
She was a member of Johnsonburg United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by a son, Charles D. "Chuck" Woleslagle and his wife Yvonne of Wilcox; a granddaughter, Brianna Woleslagle of Grove City; and a step-grandson, Jason Valentine of DuBois.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Woleslagle; and two sisters, Leona Young and Frances Roth.
A memorial service for Olive I. "Ollie" Woleslagle will be conducted at Anthony Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor William R. LaVelle of the Kane First United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Wardvale Methodist Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
There will be no visitation.
