North Central planning ahead for budget

September 29, 2012

Officials at the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission are working to finalize their budget as funding from various sources will continue to funnel through to the organization within the next several months.
"We're working to put together and finalize our organizational budget because of the various funding streams that we have and the various fiscal years that some of those programs operate under, it presents unique challenges in putting together an organizational and operational budget," said Eric Bridges, executive director at North Central. "Our budget process is dynamic and there are a lot of uncertainties in it. We make decisions with it only to have things change at some point in time.
"Our budget to a certain degree is a moving target and we're only able to present what we know so far."
