Noah R. DiNardo
Noah R. DiNardo passed away suddenly at his residence in New Britain on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He was 85.Born in Johnsonburg, he was the son of the late Ralph and Serafina (Marrone) DiNardo. Noah was the loving husband of Mary Louise (Dattoli) DiNardo for 52 years and dedicated father of Paul DiNardo (Teresa) of Hillsborough, Calif. and Stephen DiNardo (Laura) of Plumsteadville. Also surviving are his siblings, Dominic A. DiNardo and Almerinda DiNardo Ewing and his beloved grandchildren Christopher, Alexander, Michael, Kristen, Justin and Katherine DiNardo. After graduating from Johnsonburg High School, Noah enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force and served during World War II. He obtained his Bachelor of Education from Duquesne University and his Masters of Education from Penn State University. Noah taught English and was a principal at Johnsonburg High School. He later taught English at William Tennet High School in Warminster, and was the Assistant Principal at E. Klinger Jr. High School in Southhampton before retiring in 1983. Noah played and coached basketball at Johnsonburg High School and was a PIAA basketball official. He played drums for the Eutdes for several years. Noah was a member of the Centennial Schools Retired Teacher Association, Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus; a charter member of the Father Devlin Council, Knights of Columbus; and a member of St. Jude Senior Citizen Club. Noah enjoyed reading, traveling across the United States and abroad, church and senior citizen activities, and all types of sports but he especially loved spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Monday, April 9 at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave. (Rt. 202), Chalfont, PA 18914 where the family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Building Fund at the above address.
