The Ridgway Minor League All-Stars lost 12-6 to the Warren Americans Tuesday at the Ridgway Little League fields along Grant Road.
Warren used an 11-run first inning to take the lead, a lead the Americans would ultimately hang on to.
Ridgway, designated as the visiting team in the game, led 1-0 after the first inning as Matt Dush reached and later came around to score.
Warren's top three hitters in the lineup of Devin McMeans, Jimmy Kramer, and Austyn Cummings each scored runs. Aidan Morrison walked and Derek Knapp grounded out to plate Jackson Knapp. Morrison would later score on an error for Warren's fifth run. Owen Balis walked and Griffen Soppa reached on an error, both runners would come around to score. Warren would plate four more runs and lead by 10 runs after the first inning.
Zack Zameroski led off the second inning for Ridgway with a single and Paul Gresco walked with one out, although Ridgway was unable to score any runs.
Ridgway put the game within reach in the third inning using plate discipline to scratch out four runs. Jake Reynolds led off the inning with a walk. After a strikeout, Wade Steis singled and Jake Wickett walked to load the bases. Zameroski walked with the bases loaded to bring Reynolds around for a run. Josh Thorwart walked as well to score Steis. After a strikeout, Dush walked to score Wickett and Daunte Allegretto walked to bring Zameroski home and make the margin 11-5 in the third inning.
Warren was held scoreless in the second, third and fourth inning and added a single run in the fifth as Cummings walked and later scored on a wild pitch.
Ridgway added a run in the sixth inning. Steis was hit by a pitch and scored on a Warren error.
Ridgway will travel to face either the Warren Nationals or Kane on June 30 at 6 p.m.
