Matilda I. (Sprague) Wriggle

Matilda I. (Sprague) Wriggle of Severna Park, Md., died peacefully on Oct. 21, 2012 with her family by her side.
Born in Johnsonburg, Matilda worked at NSA for 17 years. Her interests included quilting, square dancing, collecting fine place settings, attending craft fairs, and cooking for and entertaining her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by Gordon, her beloved husband of 67 years; loving mother of Sharon Hodge and her husband, Gary of Massachusetts and Linda Patten and her husband, Lee, of Huntingtown, Md.; dear sister of Margaret Swanson, Beryl Phelps, Dorothy Barwin and Marion Patrick, Genevieve Ashby, Ernest Zierden, and Edward Sprague, who have predeceased her; loving grandmother of Kent Hodge of Massachusetts, Kimberly Jalbert of Connecticut, Lauren Becker of West Virginia, and Gordon Patten, Matthew Patten, and Lindsey Patten, all of Maryland.
She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visiting hours will be Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 from 10-11 a.m. at Severna Park United Methodist Church 731 Benfield Rd. Severna Park, Md. with funeral to immediately follow. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be held at Lakemont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, Md. 21401.
