Mary Ann Martini

Mary Ann Martini, age 53, a Rattlesnake Road resident in Brockport, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1959 in DuBois, daughter of John "Jack" and Marian Koval Marshall.
She was a member at St. Tobias in Brockway. Mary Ann was an active United Way volunteer. She also served as an EMT at Brockway Ambulance. She had been the editor for O-I's newsletter "Changing Times News" and served as shop steward at the plant, and on the business committee for Local #110.
Mary Ann enjoyed going to the beach, reading, writing poetry, going out to eat, and putting puzzles together. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and her family. She often said the best time of her life was raising her three children.
Mary Ann has been employed at Owens-Brockway Glass for 35 years and as packing room shift supervisor for six years.
She is survived by her parents, Jack and Marian Marshall of Brockport; one daughter, Christina "Tia" (Matthew) Kosko of Sykesville; two sons, Samuel Martini of Brockport and his girlfriend Lee Ann Holt, and Jackson Martini, also of Brockport; one sister, Susan (Joe) Starkey of Mt. Lebanon; three brothers, John (Linda) Marshall of Crenshaw, Richard Marshall of Brockport, James (Donna) Marshall of Falls Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and by many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway. A Vigil Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Monsignor Charles Kaza presiding.
Place of burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center or DRMC-Hospice/Home Health. Online condolences may be made at www.csfhinc.com.
