Marie A. Dagustine

Marie A. Dagustine, age 91, formerly of 266 West Main St., Ridgway, died Friday at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was born April 1, 1920 in McKean County, daughter of the late Chester and Lena (Piccirillo) Christoff. She was married to Vito L. Dagustine, he preceded her in death. She had resided in Ridgway all of her life and was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church.
She is survived by one brother, James Christoff and his wife Dorothy of St. Marys; two sisters, Dolores Westphal of Erie and Lucille Unick in Ohio; one granddaughter, Kim Hoyt of Ridgway; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Anna, and Natalie Hoyt of Ridgway; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Alena M. Dush; and three brothers, Sam, Chester Jr., and Billy Christoff.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie A. Dagustine will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian E. Vossler, pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Leo Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Leo Catholic Church at 111 Depot St., Ridgway, PA 15853 or to the Ridgway YMCA at 34 North Broad St., Ridgway, PA 15853.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
