Margaret M. "Rita" Repko

Margaret M. "Rita" Repko, 89, of the Lutheran Home at Kane, formerly of 902 Burning Well Rd., Wilcox, died early Tuesday morning on March 13, 2012 at the Lutheran Home at Kane following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1922 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Frank and Maria Lopreiti Serianni Colosimo.
On May 15, 1950 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg, she married Frank W. Repko Sr. He died on Aug. 16, 2007.
Mrs. Repko resided in Kane for the past year. She was formerly of Wilcox.
She graduated from Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1940. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and St. Anne Church in Wilcox.
She had worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. for 10 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Patty A., Mrs. Wayne Lowe of Wilcox, and Margaret M., Mrs. Russ Eisman of Brockport; one son, Frank W. "Paco" Repko Jr. of Wilcox; nine grandchildren, John, Scott, Tim and Dave Lowe, Samantha Repko, Cassandra Kane, Amanda Costanzo, Joseph Costanzo III and Amber Eisman; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Julian Serianni of Emporium; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Repko was predeceased in death by her parents; husband; brothers Joseph Serianni and Serafino Colosimo; and sisters Mary Villela and Frances Lupino.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret M. "Rita" Repko will be conducted at the Holy Rosary Church on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Thursday for one hour prior to the service time.
