Margaret F. Johnson

Margaret F. Johnson, 82, of 64 Clarion St., Wilcox, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at her residence following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 3, 1929 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Richard L. and Mildred H. (Bauer) Francen. She married Carl Mitchell Johnson on Aug. 18, 1948, he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2004.
She had resided in Wilcox for the last 63 years and was a member of the Wilcox Presbyterian Church, a member of the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron. She was a graduate of the Wilcox High School. She had been co-owner of the Wilcox Garage with her husband for 43 years.
She is survived by two sons, Carl Richard Johnson of Wilcox and Robert M. Johnson and his wife Darlene of Wilcox; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Cody Johnson of Wilcox; two brothers, Carl R. Francen and his wife Carman of Manila, the Philippines and Ronald L. Francen and his wife Cheryl of Ridgway; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral and Committal Services for Margaret F. Johnson will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Wilcox Cemetery. There will be no Visitation.
