Lucille A. Boyer Davido, 88, of 8 Short St., Ridgway, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born Aug. 11, 1922, in DuBois, the daughter of Frank and Mary Brown Boyer.
She married Donald A. Davido Sr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1982.
Mrs. Davido had resided in Ridgway for 63 years. She was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. She had been employed at Quality Components, where she retired after 24 years of service.
She is survived by three children, Raymond Davido of Boston, Mass., Donna LaBenne (Dave) and Charmaine Lecker (companion Sam Huling), all of Ridgway; a daughter-in-law, Irene Davido of Ridgway; nine grandchildren, Jill Davido of New York City, Tony Davido of Brookville, Michelle Thompson (John) of Michigan, Krista Viglione (Jamie) of Ridgway, Jason LaBenne (Candi) of West Virginia, Joseph LaBenne (Jen) of Coudersport, Ryan LaBenne (Jamie) of Ridgway, Justin Gerg (Nicole) of St. Marys and Courtney Lecker of Ridgway; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Boyer of Pittsburgh; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Donald Davido Jr.; a sister, Arlene Rosyak; and a brother, Frank Boyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille A. Boyer Davido will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 3 at noon in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kersey. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
