Locals hunker down for Sandy, buy supplies

Photo by Greg Reedy – Area residents appeared to have stocked up on the essentials Monday afternoon at Ridgway BiLo Foods in the wake of the potential "Superstorm Sandy" with high winds and rain.

With Hurricane Sandy bearing down on the eastern seaboard, and the storm system working its way across Pennsylvania, local residents began stocking up on emergency provisions as a precaution in the event of flooding and power outages.
