Local woman sentenced in identity theft

Carolyn Marie Taylor, 44, of 468 West Creek Rd, St. Marys appeared before President Judge Richard A. Masson to enter a guilty plea for a felony charge of identity theft.
The victim, Fred Grunthaner of St. Marys, looked on as Taylor offered a tearful apology in the courtroom. Taylor was charged in January of 2013 for opening several credit cards in Grunthaner's name.
