Local dog recovering from illness linked to tainted treats

Photo submitted – Tinker, a six-year-old female Pomeranian owned by Dennis and Rose Heindl of Ridgway, is recovering from Fanconi syndrome, a kidney disease, likely caused by the consumption of chicken jerky dog treats imported from China.
