Linda E. Streich

Linda E. Streich, 76, of 4381 Grant Rd., Ridgway, died Thursday morning at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
She was born March 13, 1938 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (Buehler) Carlson.
She married Gary J. Streich Sr. on Sept. 5, 1959; he survives. She had resided in Ridgway all of her life and was a member of the Hallton Church.
Linda was a 1956 graduate of Ridgway High School and 1959 graduate of Clarion University. She had been employed by the Ridgway Area School District as a teacher for 10 years.
Surviving besides her husband are the following children: Leslie A. Pomeroy and her husband Patrick of DuBois, Lisa M. Mattivi and her husband Daniel of Ridgway, Gary J. Streich Jr. of Ridgway, Becky J. Grazioli and her husband Clete of Kersey; eight grandchildren; one sister, Joan Principe and her husband Beni of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Carlson.
A Memorial Service for Linda E. Streich will be held at the Hallton Church Bible Training Center on Evergreen Drive on Saturday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m.
Officiating will be Ronald Burkett, pastor of the Hallton Church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials can be made to the Hallton Church, 233 Spruce St., Ridgway.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
