Lady Owls sweep Ridgway

Bradford volleyball moved to 13-0 on the season with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-18) win over Ridgway Thursday night at Ridgway Area High School.
"Bradford's a good team," Ridgway coach Janet Redmond said. "They have a lot of hitting ability that really we don't see along our way. I thought our girls did well keeping with them. I can't complain."
Ridgway opened the match scoring four of the first five points. At 1-all, the Lady Elkers scored three straight which included a Gabby Wolff ace and a Mandie Leithner kill. Bradford would rally to tie the set at 6-all and 7-all. Ridgway took an 8-7 lead on a Sierra Kos kill.
