Lady Elkers win 10th straight game

October 14, 2013

Gabbi Benninger fights for the ball along with Juli Esposito of Brockway during a 5-1 Lady Elker win.

The momentum is there for Ridgway girls soccer heading into the postseason.
Ridgway extended their winning streak to 10 after a 5-1 victory over Brockway Monday afternoon at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School.
"Across the board, solid play. Every one of them," Ridgway coach Greg Maddalena said. "They know I wasn't real happy with the last performance against Smethport. They just stepped their game up as a team. That's all I want. We're such a balanced team, we have the athletes to do it. We just got to do it."
