Ridgway girls basketball lost 59-29 to Smethport Friday night at Ridgway Area High School.
Before the game, the Lady Elkers honored their five seniors, Sarah Szczotka, Kiki Woodford, Jenni Thomas, Dani Shirey and Ange DeAngelo. The five seniors also sang the national anthem before the game.
"I've been with these girls for four years, the head coach with these girls for two," Ridgway coach Stacy Kifer said. "These girls have stuck through this program and shown perseverance. They really should be proud of themselves, they didn't quit on this program. They're out there playing on the court no matter what with a smile on their face trying as hard as they possibly can. I'm really pleased with that."
