Katrina E. Bjorkquist

Katrina E. Bjorkquist, 84, of Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Claus and Olivia Johnson Bjorkquist.
She was a lifelong Ridgway resident. Ms. Bjorkquist was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women and choir. She had been employed at West Penn Power and Ridgway Community Nurses.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Corrine Arlia; three brothers, Robert, William and John Bjorkquist; a niece, Carol Kasmierski; and by a nephew, James Bjorkquist.
Funeral services for Katrina E. Bjorkquist will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Erik Hart, pastor. Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
