Kathleen A. Jacobs

Kathleen A. Jacobs, 61, 275 West Center St., Johnsonburg, died peacefully Wednesday night, May 14, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 4, 1952 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Jerome F. "Pat" and Genevieve Quagliani Kastner.
On Sept. 22, 1978, she married Robert E. "Bob" Jacobs in St. Boniface Church, Kersey, and he survives.
She resided in Johnsonburg since her marriage.
She graduated from St. Marys Area High School in 1970 and graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology in DuBois.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church. She loved traveling, attending craft shows, decorating and shopping and especially loved spending time with her family.
She was employed by Roy B. Constable's Stores of Johnsonburg for the past 20 years. She had also worked at Sylvania in St. Marys for nine years and had been a licensed beautician in DuBois.
In addition to her husband at home, she is survived by one son, Eric Robert Jacobs of Charlestown, W.Va.; one daughter, Jenifer, Mrs. Daniel O'Neill of Charlestown, W. Va.; two grandchildren, Tyler J. and Ketelin J. O'Neill, both of Charlestown, W. Va.; one brother, Thomas J. Kastner of Kersey; and two sisters, Susan, Mrs. Rich Wortman of Kersey and Christine Kastner of Kersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Kastner.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen A. Jacobs will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 a.m.
Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Kersey.
A celebration of the life of Kathleen A. Jacobs will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. Share your condolences at www.ferraginefuneralhome.com.
