Julia C. Himes

Julia C. Himes, age 76, of Johnsonburg, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Elk Regional Health Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 9, 1935 in Betula, daughter of the late Irvin Harvey and Julia (Halbe) Rider.
She had been married to the late Bernard William Himes.
A homemaker, she had previously resided in Brockport for many years.
She is survived by five children, Harvey Himes, Clarence Himes, Mrs. Terry (Alberta) Short – Johnsonburg, David A. Himes, and Sidney Himes, all of Johnsonburg; one sister, Mary Ellen Hess of Bradford; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a daughter, Rose Ann Clark.
A private service was held and burial will take place in Mt. Church Cemetery in Brockport.
