JOHNSONBURG – Johnsonburg soccer lost 3-0 to Coudersport Monday night at Memorial Field in Johnsonburg.
The loss comes after a 1-0 loss at Clearfield Saturday.
“Coudersport’s a good team,” Johnsonburg coach Lance Rezmerski said. “Last time, we lost 2-1 in double overtime to them. That’s the story of our life, we’ve lost seven 1-goal games this year.”
Rezmerski said the Rams are getting different players some playing time.
“Luke Shreffler up front is all over the field,” Rezmerski said. “Luke’s made a huge difference in keeping the ball up the field and pressuring the goal. Devon Zilcoski in the goal there at the end. The score could have been a lot worse. He really did a nice job there too. We’re getting there. I got my freshmen a little bit of playing time and that’s what we’re looking at, getting them some playing time for next year.”
Johnsonburg soccer is at Smethport for a 7 p.m. game Thursday.
