The fire was called in at approximately 2:30 p.m., with units from Johnsonburg, Ridgway, Wilcox, Fox Township, and the Crystal Fire Department responding. The two-story wood-frame residential dwelling was destroyed and the owner, 62-year-old David E. Deprater of Johnsonburg, was not home at the time.
