JOHNSONBURG – Kirsten Wolfe is the newest addition to the Johnsonburg Area School District staff.
Wolfe now oversees the special education department as the Special Education Supervisor. She holds a Master of Science in Special Education from St. Bonaventure University, and a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education also from St. Bonaventure University.
Special Education is nothing new to Wolfe. She spent the past three years in Smethport as their Supervisor, and the year before that she worked in the Intermediate Unit 9 Special Education Department. “I love (special education) because it is a new challenge every day,” Wolfe said. “There is regulation behind it, and there is a process and procedure with everything; I love that.”
