JOHNSONBURG – In the wake of the deadly school shooting in Newtown, Conn., the Johnsonburg Area School District [JASD], like most school districts across the United States, continues to review their safety measures and procedures.
"Our school district has a crisis plan which we constantly are reviewing to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and support staff," said JASD Superintendent Dennis Crotzer. "My administrative staff has reviewed this plan with their staffs after the unfortunate school shooting in Connecticut.
"I will take all necessary steps to continue to make sure all school facilities are safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families that lost a loved one in Connecticut."
