Janet Marie Trunzo, 61, of DuBois passed away peacefully with her friends at her side on Sunday evening, July 10, 2011.
Janet was born on Sept. 28, 1949. She was adopted by Clarence and Geneva (Shoch) Fields.
She was employed with DuFast Transit until 2008. Janet enjoyed bowling, softball, shooting pool, and spending time with her friends.
Surviving are her adopted brother, John; eight nieces and two nephews; and close friends Carolyn, Mertz, Chrissy, Jodi, April, Marian, Cora, Linda, Victoria, Lisa, KiKi and Christine.
In addition to her adopted parents, she is preceded in death by her adopted brother, Michael Siverling and nephew, Charles Brown.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ellen Bullock officiating.
A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
