James Ruel Cristini

James Ruel Cristini, 67, of North Broad Street, Ridgway, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 20, 1943 in Brockport, son of James Cristini of Brockport and the late Virginia (Zimmerman) Cristini.
He married Linda (Hooven) Cristini, who survives.
Cristini served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a tool and die maker for local manufacturing for 43 years, retiring from Clarion Sintered in 2008.
He was a member of the Ridgway American Legion and VFW. Born and raised in Brockport, he had been a Ridgway resident since 1964.
In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by seven children, James A. Cristini of Charlotte, Kevin J. Cristini and his wife Marcia of Lititz, Brian D. Cristini and his wife Nicole of Harrisburg, Curtis R. Cristini and his wife Macarena of Greenville, S.C., Steven M. Cristini and his wife Betty of Mather, Jamie L. Cristini of Ridgway and Joseph R. Cristini of Ridgway; 21 grandchildren; a brother, Gary Cristini and his wife Ann of Brockway; and two sisters, Mrs. Denny (Carol) Keister of Brockport and Mrs. Leno (Gail) Serafini of Harrisburg.
Funeral services for James Ruel Cristini will be private and held at the family's convenience.
There will be no visitation.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Community Nurses, Inc. or to a favorite charity.
