Irene Coppede

Irene Coppede, 94, a resident of Elk Haven and a former resident of Ridgway, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Kersey, daughter of the late John and Dina Gavazzi Coppede.
She was a lifelong resident of the area, attended Kersey schools, and was a former employee of the Elks in Ridgway.
She was a member of St. Leo's Church, a member of the Ridgway Senior Center, and she loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed baking for them.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Coppede of Toby.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Angeline Morrow, Marie Coppede, and Loretta Coppede; two brothers, Mario Coppede and James Coppede; and by siblings in infancy. She was the last member of her immediate family.
A Memorial Service for Irene Coppede will be held at a later date to be announced.
Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Brandy Camp.
There will be no visitation.
The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
