Highland firefighter injured in 14-vehicle accident

January 10, 2013

Photo by Ted Lutz – The driver of this box truck was injured Wednesday in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 66, about two miles north of Pigeon. Light rain froze on contact with the road surface and created heavy icy conditions. A wrecker (hidden) lifted the box truck to an upright position. The box truck was toppled on impact when it was hit by another out-of-control truck.
