Hearing rescheduled in Kane assault case

KANE – A preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for a Kane insurance representative who is charged with allegedly assaulting a Kane businessman.
According to documents filed at Kane District Court, Michael R. Merry, 36, of 34 Pine Ave., Kane, is charged with assault for allegedly causing "bodily injury to the victim."
