Giulio Bevacqua

It is with deep sadness the family of Giulio Bevacqua announces his passing at the Welland Hospital located in Welland, Ontario, Canada, on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 in his 79th year.
He was the beloved husband of Maria [nee Torchia]; loving father of Carmen [Brenda], Paul [Nancy], Claudio [Jody] and Giulio Jr. [Cheril], all from Welland, Ontario, Canada; cherished grandfather of Audrey, Logan, Marley, Kayla Braden, Owen Brodie and Mason; dear brother of Pietro [Luisa] of Warren, Eligio [Donata] and Mario [Maria Grazia] of Motta Santa Lucia, Italy and Victoria [late Victor Aiello] of Johnsonburg. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Giulio first came to Canada in 1952 with his family. He resided in Ridgway for a short while where he was employed at the Aiello Cafe. Later returning to Canada, he worked at the Wabasso Cotton Mill in Welland until its closing. He was an avid gardener and will be remembered for his wonderful homemade nativity scene at Christmas.
