Gertrude R. Stahli

Gertrude R. Stahli, 94, of 868 Wilcox Rd., Johnsonburg, died Saturday morning, Nov. 30, 2013 at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following an illness of the past several months.
She was born Dec. 4, 1918 in Sheffield, daughter of the late John and Rose Moore Huber.
She married Kenneth L. Stahli on Dec. 3, 1934; he died Feb. 9, 2002.
She resided in Johnsonburg most of her life and was formerly from Wilcox where she attended Wilcox High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie J. Winters of Johnsonburg; one son, Kermit L. "Kerm" Stahli and his wife Harriet of Johnsonburg; 8 grandchildren, Kenneth Winters, Kimberly Shreffle, Kathy Wolfgang, Jeff Stahl, Karolee Coffman, Donald Stahli, Darrin Stahli and David Stahli; 10 great-grandchildren, Chad Wolfgang, Britany Witherson, Jaclyn Wolfgang, Lincoln, Satchel and Luke Shreffler, Raelee and Dalton Stahli and Joshua Nicholas and Hannah Coffman; and three great-great grandchildren, Callie Jo Shreffler, Collin Wolfgang and Claire Wolfgang; and one sister, Selma Oertly of Mt. Jewett.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, K. Quentin Stahli; three brothers, John, Adolph and Casper Huber; three sisters, Margaret Payne, Martha Shaffer and Lena Bodistow; and a son-in-law, Lester "Tony" Winters.
A private Funeral Service for Gertrude R. Stahli will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Officiating will be Pastor Stephen Fair of St. John's Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg. Interment will be in Wardvale Lutheran Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Visitation will be private. Arrangements under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St. Johnsonburg.
