Gale “Moose” Stahli

Gale “Moose” Stahli, age 74, of Wilcox Road, Johnsonburg, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
He was born April 26, 1937 in Johnsonburg, son of Michael and Garnet (Wolf) Stahli, deceased.
He was a member of the VFW, Piedmonte, Sportsmens, Eagles, and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending his winters in Florida. He lived all his life in Johnsonburg.
He is survived by two children, Ronald “Moose Jr.” Stahli of Johnsonburg, and Sheri Stahli of Ridgway; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Dilley of Johnsonburg; and two brothers, William Stahli of Lockport, N.Y., and Perry D. Stahli of Johnsonburg.
He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; one son, Jonathan Stahli; five brothers, Robert “Soup”, Wilmer “Muggs”, Philip “Flip”, Theodore “Ted” and infant Jonathan Stahli; and one sister, Marjorie Ferraro.
There will be no visitation. Friends will be welcome to the Ubel Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Ubel Funeral Home, 111 Bridge St., Johnsonburg.
