Frank Maletto

Frank Maletto, 53, of 2044 Mefferts Run Rd., Wilcox, died Thursday evening, April 21, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 11, 1957 in St. Marys, son of the late Orlando "Popeye" and Borgia McDivitt Maletto.
On Oct. 28, 2006, he married Laurie J. Taylor, who survives.
Formerly of Johnsonburg, he resided in Wilcox since 1989. He was a 1975 graduate of Johnsonburg High School and served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman First Class from 1975 to 1977 at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. He was employed by Domtar, Inc. of Johnsonburg for the past 31 years.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, the Wilcox Sportsmen's Club and the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, NASCAR, having his Daytona 500 party, going to Watkins Glen, anything Harley-Davidson, and the beach.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Ashley M. Maletto, Rachel D. Maletto and Taylor K. Maletto, all of St. Marys; two stepsons, Mark Stiles and his wife Lisa, and Keith Stiles and his wife Carrie, all of Lewis Run; seven granddaughters, Sarrae Myers, Calleigh Lynch, Michaella, Marrisa and Miranda Deming, Kylie Stiles and Cadence Stiles; two brothers, Ralph Maletto and his wife Mattie of Johnsonburg, and Michael Maletto, of Jamestown, N.Y.; and three sisters, Angeline Maletto of Charlotte, N.C., Kathi Bailey of Kersey, and Anne "Twig," Mrs. Victor Vogt of Johnsonburg.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Maletto will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Wednesday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Wilcox Cemetery, Wilcox.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
